Full Diagnostic Assessment
Dyslexia
Service Description
A full diagnostic assessment includes a range of tests to evaluate underlying abilities, spelling, writing, reading, numeracy, and cognitive skills such as working memory, speed of processing, and phonological awareness. The assessment takes around four hours and can be administered over one or two sessions. It is conducted by a level 7 qualified specialist teacher-assessor with an up-to-date assessment practising certificate and professional membership. Test results will be carefully considered alongside your child's background information, which will be collected via pre-assessment questionnaires and discussions. Our thorough assessment process and a comprehensive diagnostic report will provide a detailed understanding of your child's strengths and difficulties, along with personalised recommendations to help them succeed.
